Indeed it is super clear in the golden pour with a full white head and good lacing. Very grassy hopped forward in the nose, bready tones with malt behind. Taste has a similar set up but the grains have come out to play too, this pulls away from the grassiness in a good way. Feel is almost zesty with the hops, malt and bready yeast balance well.

Pale, straw-yellow body; fair, robust carbonation; one-finger thick head, dense and creamy. Mild cereal grain presence; cracker and light biscuit notes; soft herbal and grassy elements. Fairly rich, slightly toasty malt flavor complemented with a moderate, earthy hop bitterness; clean; grassy herbal flavors. Light to medium body; crisp; semi-dry mouthfeel.
This is a fine German style pilsner, outstanding gain aroma and taste with a fantastic hop bitterness counterbalance.
Pouring temperature: 46 °F; canning info: B: ??/28/22

Appearance: Pours a completely clear, pale golden-yellow color with a moderate white head. SRM of 6. (4.25)
Aroma: Moderate aromas of pale malts and lemonflower citrus upfront. Some dry grains in the middle. Crisp and clean. (4.25)
Flavor: Strong and grassy flavors of dry grains upfront. Dry, grassy flower with hints of lemon citrus. A bitter grassy and dried grain finish. (4.50)
Feel: Light to medium bodied. Strong carbonation. Some lingering yeast for a dry, crisp, clean finish with a little bite. (4.50)
Compared to Summit Twin Pils 5/15/22: Pours an identical color. Identical aromas. More crisp and grassy hop flavors. Less smooth bread and honey.
Compared to BlackStack Fugazi Pils 6/7/22: Pours slightly lighter. Stronger head. Stronger aromas. More lemon, flower, grass, and yeast. Less smooth bread and bubblegum. Lighter and cleaner, but better.
Compared to Jever Pils 6/26/22: Pours similar, stronger aromas. More lemonflower, lemongrass, citrus, and smooth bread malty. Less dry, grassy yeast and earthy malt. Smoother.
Compared to Fair State Pilsner 6/26/22: Pours similar, similar head. Similar aromas. More lemongrass and floral hoppiness. Less malty. A similar bitterness, but a lighter and cleaner body, giving it a stronger appreciable bitterness. Hard to call a winner, but gosh Super Clear is good.
Compared to Modist Side Pull 10/4/22: Pours lighter, milder aromas. More earthy yeast and grassy bitter hops. Less smooth buttery bread malt. Less citrus. Dryer and more bitter.
Compared to Portage Chatter Chatter 10/4/22: Pours lighter, milder aromas. More earthy yeast and grassy bitter hops. Less smooth buttery bread malt. Less citrus. Dryer and more bitter.
Overall: This pilsner is a wonder. Strong and hoppy, yet a light body. Grassy hop flavors. Authentically German Noble hops and then follows on that with an ridiculously crisp and clean finish. Strong carbonation gives it a full mouthfeel, while the yeast gives it a little bite too. An amazing and complex pilsner for only 4.5%. The subtle hoppiness and crispness of this pilsner cannot be matched. Fair State does it for a world-class pilsner here. (Rating: 4.40+)

On tap. White head with lace. One of the lightest color beers I’ve had. Pale straw color. Very clear.
Tons of flavor. Grassy and zesty. Bready and biscuity. Earthy with a nice amount of noble hops. Crisp and clean.
This is a fantastic pils. FS continues to crush the lager game.
