Hazy IPA collaboration with Pinthouse Pizza (Austin, TX) that celebrates Mosaic hops. We happened to select the same lot of Mosaic from the Yakima valley for our 2020 crop year Mosaics as our friends at Pinthouse, and we thought we’d celebrate by brewing a beer with them. Art & Agriculture celebrates the connection between farmer and brewer, and also the dankest hops out there. We brewed this beer with tons of oats, wheat, spelt, Mosaic, Mosaic Cryo, Simcoe, and Idaho 7. Bright, tropical, citrus pith, and a hint of dankness.

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from my local beer store located just around the corner. It poured a hazy orangish with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had apricot peel spice notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright apricot and stone fruit presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Last tallboy from a 4-pack, into a tulip. Pours a cloudy orange-gold, one finger of pill white head, good retention and lacing. Nose is oats, lemon, orange blossom, tangerine peel, some faint orchard fruit, too. Taste is a little more round flavors, but still lots of citrus, that has a little almost tart or grassy edge to it….nothing too sweet or warm about the way the flavors develop. Comes to a nice point, but moderate carb and zealand point ness, moderate mouthful without being heavy, at all.

Very good hazy IPA. At the very there is a burst of rounded, absolutely delicious burst of plum/strawberry flavor. Amazing!

Can. White head with lace. Hazy golden sunset.
In the middle of Drekker and BS. Sweet, tropical notes, but still tastes like an ipa. Pine and earthy hops with orange and strawberry notes. Some melon. Very enjoyable.

16oz can. Can bottom is stamped 'STPART1 JUL/22/21'.
Hazy, pale gold colored body. Two fingers of white head quickly settles to thin cap. Partial walls of lacing on the non-drinking side.
Aroma is dominated by dank, weedy hops, with some sweet orange and pineapple.
Taste is weedy hops, and some sweeter pineapple and orange flavors. Quickly trails off in the aftertaste to some grassy hops. The non-barley malts add in a slightly sour flavor.
Thicker than medium mouth feel. Wash through the mouth tends to wipe the slate clean. Good carbonation.
Dry finish with a weedy profile. Two of these in a row may work because of the dryness and the dank.
