IPA you can see through? Yes, you read that right. The Luxury of Restraint is a collaboration with Shared Brewing (St. Louis, MO), hopped liberally with hand-selected Strata, Simcoe, and Nelson Sauvin. Assertive but polite bitterness, crispy malt character, and notes of stonefruit, gooseberries, nebulous tropicalia, and a waft of dankness. Can- and keg-conditioned for extra intangibles.

This is good and I enjoy it. I really don't have anything negative to say about it. But there's also nothing spectacular that stands out about it. It's simply a good IPA. Which is still says something. For me this a good one for when I'm cooking dinner.

Pours fairly clear medium gold with decent head and lacing.
Tropical and white stone fruit on the nose, balanced by some grass and chive.
Honey kissed crackery malts on the front of the palate meld with mango, ruby red grapefruit, peach, and plum. The back half of the brew is grassy and herbal hop. Very little resin.
Medium bodied. Drying with a fairly short finish.
One of the more difficult to rate brews I've had in awhile. It's a really tasty brew. But it isn't the WCIPA it claims to be. What to do.

Pours a clear golden color with a fresh but fast receding white head . Smell is fruity with slight malts. Taste is fruity with citrus lemon grass tint bit of pine . Mouth feel is sweet with just a touch of bitterness , Very tasty thou but not a WC IPA.
