750ML bottle picked up from the brewery front door & split with my wife. There’s not enough barrel brewing in the Twin Cities.

It’s black. Enough vanilla nose to kill anyone with an allergy.

FSB 2021: Barrel Aged is akin to vanillin mouthwash. Vanilla, vanilla, more vanilla (perhaps a bit from the barrels?), & a sonic boom of sweetness. Barrel shows only in a back-o-the-throat bourbon heat. Sticky & moist, half this club is plenty.

Interesting beer – there’s more vanilla in this than most vanilla beans. The one note & scrubbing sweetness should doom this to mediocrity but it’s actually a good, solid beer.

On tap. Tan head. Black color.

Straight up vanilla. So much. Chocolate, fudge, bourbon, oak, dark dried fruits, molasses.

Full bodied, but not a pastry. Light roast and warming finish.
