I tried this beer off the tapper at The Daily Growler in Powell, Ohio as part of a six sample flight. It poured a hazy golden with white head that left a nice lace. The scent had dank tropical fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt base and tropical fruit highlights. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

 

 

Canned 7/29/22

Appearance: Pours a mostly hazy (40% clarity) light golden color with a strong white head. SRM of 7. (3.75)

Aroma: Strong floral aromas of dandelion, lemon citrus, tons of floral spice. Then a black cherry, fennel, and herbal baked chicken aroma. Some dankness off the end. (3.75)

Flavor: The flavor follows the nose here with more black cherry, fennel and herbal baked chicken. There's herbal, citrusy, and baked chicken flavors. (4.00)

Feel: Medium-bodied, strong carbonation, and the fennel, black cherry, and floral chicken note lingers. (3.75)

Compared to Perennial Hurry on Daylight 10/2022: Pours similar, stronger aromas. More herbal baked chicken. More dank. Less citrus. More tropical and sweet.

Compared to Modist Midwest Mindset 10/13/22: Pours similar. Stronger aromas. More tropical and herbal baked chicken. Less citrus and pine. Sweeter.

Overall: An interesting NEIPA to say the least. Tons of herbal, fennel, black cherry, and baked chicken flavors. Sort of tropical. Never quite experience a flavor like this in an IPA. Not really sure what to think, except the terpenes here are truly an experience (Rating: 3.85)

 

 

 

Pours a hazy golden color with a nice fresh white head and lacing. Smell is sweet floral jucy hops . Taste has melon citrus papaya and berries. Mouth feel is more sweet than dry juicy and tropical ,very tasty,
