Only available at the brewery unfortunately. I am doing this review by memory. I had it on two occasions and it was out of this world. First time I had it I thought, "This is a 5." Second time I had it confirmed my original suspicions. It becomes my 10TH "5.0" beer over the last 25 years. I remember it being midnight black. Huge aroma of cognac and imperial stout traits mixed together. Luscious mouthfeel. Quite drinkable for the high ABV. Flavor was incredibly rich and decadent. Many layers of flavors from molasses to roast to plum and fig to chocolate to dark berries to anise oil.......Beautiful, just beautiful...... I must like cognac barrel aged beers as this is my second one that is a 5.0.

On tap. No head. Black color.

Thick and rich. Vanilla, wet oak, and fudge. Tastes like the purplest tooth, but cognac forward instead of port. They are very similar beers. Figs, molasses, brown sugar.
