When the company’s founding brewer is all of a sudden one of your hop suppliers, we can see where you’d think we are getting preferential treatment. But let us assure you, you too can buy some of the best hops in the country from Yakima Chief Hops! The hops in this Hazy IPA were flash frozen right off the vine and shipped right to Fair State for immediate brewing, resulting in super bright and fresh aroma notes of citra hops and mango.

Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy (50% clarity) medium orange color with a massive white head that lingers. SRM of 8. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas upfront of deep orange, tangerine, and some tropical mango, melon, and pine underneath. (4.00)
Flavor: Strong flavors of orange citrus upfront. This is followed by some resinous tangerine balanced by some tropical mango notes. Mildly sweet and smooth off the end. (4.00)
Feel: Medium-body, average carbonation. Full mouthfeel and yeasty. Smooth mouthfeel. (3.75)
Overall: Dry-hopped NEIPA from Fair State. This uses fresh hops frozen straight off the vine and shipped frozen Citra Cryo. Usually their IPAs are pretty clean and this is too. Nice citrus flavors of orange, some resinous tangerine, mango, and pine. A little bit of tartness, otherwise very enjoyable. (Rating: 3.93)

Cloudy, pale gold colored body. Two fingers of white head coalesce to a fluffy cap and high ring. Dense lacing webs are left behind.
Aroma is fresh orange, pineapple, and mango.
Taste is very hop forward, and bright. Flavors of orange marmalade, mango, and a bit of vegetal matter that gets close to resin. Bitterness level is low.
Smooth and slurpy mouth feel. Numbs the tongue. Very good carbonation.
Kind of sweet, and very fresh tasting. Not real complex nor dense but bright and juicy.
