Had on tap. Way too smoky and reminiscent of peat, takes over the rest of the flavors of toffee, oat, raisin and nutmeg. Feel is smoky even, with thick yeasty sips to boot. Their other scott ale, can your bagpipes... is a much better offering

Taste: toasted malts and a tangy hint of smoked spice.. Reddish copper hue, clear, with a delicate head. Medium body.
