A throwback to the good ol days of the clear, hoppy, slightly bitter IPA...
I'm digging it for sure...slight citrus notes with a wallop of pine....not booze at all...
A really nice beer for warmer weather and one that I would reach for consistently if it were available locally

Pours a bright yellow, nearly opaque. Smell is faint, generic citrus. The mouthfeel is pretty thin, not creamy like I look for in a neipa. The taste is lemon sizes and some grassy notes. Not a bad beer, but not what I was hoping for. Still good to crush in the summer.

On tap at the brewery - Plainfield, IL. Hazy copper colored ale with a foamy off-white head. Fruity aroma, citrus, mango, apricot, light caramel. Bitter hops hit the palate with orange & grapefruit zest, pine, mango, and apricot; light caramel malt adds a bit of sweetness. Medium body, moderate carbonation, resinous hop oils stick to the palate on the dry finish. Solid west coast IPA here.
