Had on tap. Pitch black viscous pour with a oatmeal brown cap with great retention, spotted lazy lacing. Baker's chocolate and rye combine with bourbon to meet vanilla and oak in the taste. Nose is a rye barrel forward version of the taste. Feel is medium bodied for style but thick, very smooth, barrel depth is sneaky good but is not the focus with smooth and thick malts stealing the show.

Released 6/25/22; drank 7/4//22 @ the Yarchives.
Black/brown appearance.
An even pour yielded a small, noisy tan head which quickly dissipated; no lace.
Chocolate syrup, oak & cream notes in the nose.
Medium thick, sticky mouthfeel.
Chocolate syrup, strong oak & mild vanilla flavors up front; mild bourbon heat on the finish.
A bit syrup-y, but overall drinkable.
Might not be worth the $15+ price tag for a 12oz bottle, but it's not offensive.
