375 ml bottle into a snifter. A 2023 release, had 4/26/24.

Pours an opaque dark brown, with a brief head and faint specks of cling. Aromas of bourbon, chocolate, vanilla, roasted malt, some oak. Flavors of bourbon, chocolate, vanilla, malt, a little oak. Smooth, a very good full body that’s maybe a touch thinner than expected, well carbonated.

As advertised, lots of chocolate and vanilla. Focused and distinct aromas and flavors, good barrels. Very enjoyable.

The beer garden lights brought me in to Werk Force, and this beer made me glad I did. Humongous Chungus is a tasty sweet barrel aged stout, and this one is even better. Very smooth, bold, boozy, and big on chocolate, vanilla, and bourbon flavor. Going to be taking some to go and picking up for friends.
