Tasting Notes: Milk Chocolate – Hot Cocoa – Roasted Malt
Obstacle Illusion is a decadent Double Oat Stout that boasts a rich velvety mouthfeel thanks to a blend of Golden Promise Malt, Flaked Oats, and Golden Naked Oats. The dark side of the beer shines with the addition of Midnight Wheat, Chocolate Malt, and Roasted Barley, which together create a deep, robust base. The copious amount of oats bring an extra layer of creaminess that softens the robust roasted flavors. Obstacle Illusion is the kind of beer that casts a spell, transforming every sip into a moment believability or imagination.

Thick, oily looking pour, decent head. Snot factory get some chocolate and molasses. Flavors are similar with some roasted malts. Smooth creamy mouthfeel. I'd buy this again.
