No messing around here. This is a traditional saison using only the finest fresh American ingredients. We take our time making this limited release beer and let the beer speak for itself. It is everything you want is a saison: DELICATE, CITRUS, DRY, PEPPERY, and FLAVORFUL.
Just like a proper saison, it is good for any occasion, and just about every meal.

Poured from can into NB chalice, 3 finger massive soapy cream colored head, recedes rather slowly, nice lacing. Hazy pale yellow in the glass. Has some nice saison esters on the nose, mixed in with citrus. Taste is initially lemon and citrus, very smooth middle and a spicy dry finish. Prickly carbonation and rather good mouthfeel. This is a good food beer, not much in the way of anything you eat with it, but complements whatever you have. Good solid saison.

12oz can, sample from the brewery.
Crystal clear pale golden hue, pretty epic head retention and lacing left on the glass. Phenols and ripe fruit in the nose with some bready grain and herbal hop as well. Smooth with some crispness, a bit of body but things dry up a little. A little spicy and pithy. Very clean and refined ... was hoping for more of a rustic character, this could easily be confused with a Belgian Pale Ale. A good sip but I'm finding it hard to see it as a Saison.

12 ounce can - $2.79 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a light, pale yellow body, lightly hazed, lightly effervescent with an initially tallish, white head.
Smell: Piquant spinciness on the nose, yeast-riddled risen dough and fruity, citrusy notes, maybe a bit of kiwi.
Taste: Rather doughy maltiness, just a very minimal sweetness. Lemony, orangey and tropical fruit, but this one quickly is darting off into a spicy territory, some white peppercorn, cardamon. Middling bitterness. Very dry, very spicy finish with some lingering phenolics.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Creamyish mouthfeel.
Overall: A spicy lil' saison.

Appearance: Clear (maybe even a touch too clear) pale straw with a solid white head and OK lacing.
Aroma: Great yeast notes of bubblegum, pepper, and orange peel overpower and malt/hop character.
Flavor: Similar to aromas noted about, black pepper ester seems to steel the show and is complimented well with a light earthy hop profile.
Mouthfeel: Pretty dry, pepper character lingers and makes you want to take another sip.
Overall: A great brew from another Georgia brewery I'm excited about.
