Out of retirement? Served on tap in a 12oz tulip at the Brain in July 2025. Review from notes and listed at 8% ABV.
Appearance - Pink hued with a half finger of pinkish white head. Good staying power and some frothy lacing left behind.
Smell - Massive raspberry note up front with palpable tartness. Rhubarb's a sidekick but in the mix.
Taste - Lots of raspberry transitioning to a wheat backbone. Not super tart just a kiss of it. Rhubarb plays out more in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Smooth and creamy with a semi dry and hint of pepper finish. Carbonation is lower and body is fairly full but light on its feet for an 8% ABV beer.
Overall - Very pleasant seasonal beer that hits harder than you think it should.

Can: Poured a cloudy reddish color ale with a rather large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of fresh raspberry notes with some rustic yeast notes is refreshing. Taste is dominated by raspberry notes with light rhubarb with rustic yeast notes with some dominant flavours notes. Body is pretty full with godo carbonation. Refreshing with great drinkability but yeast profile is slightly stronger than I was expecting.
