A- Pours from the tap into a snifter with a pitch black body and a small tan head. The cap has a frothy consistency and dies out completely. Legs stick to the glass but almost no permanent lacing.
S- A strong yet smooth Bourbon barrel influence balanced with intense roast grains and cocoa. A very nice barrel; peppery smooth Bourbon, vanilla beans and old oak. Barrel first, stout later but it is a damn good barrel.
T- Barrel a bit more intense with some booze here but again the peppery aged smooth whiskey, vanilla bean, caramel, oak wood tannins, chocolate, roast grains and espresso make up the beer's character. The coffee loves this barrel very much. Toasted oats in the backdrop.
MF- Slick and thick body with low carbonation. Slight creaminess for the texture. A bit warm in the finish but not boozy.
Coffee and Bourbon here are amazing together. Smooth but rich coffee beans and a flavorful refined peppery whiskey barrel. Had after the 2017 anniversary event.

The bourbon barrel aged offering of the original Quaker State. A nice punch of bourbon flavor without the high ABV tag. A welcomed edition to the Quaker State line
