32 oz growlette was poured into a pint glass.
Appearance: A one finger head was poured that reduced to a thin layer. It is a golden straw yellow color with great clarity and vision of bubbles coming up through the glass. Spotty lacing down the glass as the beer was drank.
Smell: Banana, tropical, cittus, lemon, yoasted, and pale malts. These Rakau hops smell interesting.
Taste: Very interesting hop flavor followed by toasted, biscuity, and pale malts. Light bitterness and chewy notes in the rear.
Mouthfeel: Smooth, light bodied, medium carbonation, light bitterness, sessionable, crisp, refreshing, and a little chewy.
Overall: I dig it. Will look to more of this the next time they make it.
