Our variation on traditional Leipziger gose, a tart and slightly sour ale made with 80% wheat malt and accented with coriander, Maine sea salt, and lemon zest and aged for 5 months in tequila barrels.

Sample at Wood Meets Beer last weekend.
Lightly hazy deep gold in color with a thin bubbly white head.
This was quite tasty, has that salty lightly tart lemony to it with a hint of tequila and lime. Very nice gose.

Had on tap. Clear golden body with two fingers of foam. This gose blew me away, the tequila barrel took so well to it, amplifying flavors of lime, salt, honey wheat, lemon, and grapefruit with accenting coriander and oak. Tequila booze carries through, though in the smell maybe a little too much, drowning the nuance a bit. Feel is gose elevated to a refined and boozier degree, adding the barrel presence to the style, really impressive.
