A- Pours from the draft to a snifter with a pitch black body like motor oil. A nutty brown cap rises with fairly good retention eventually dying to nothing. A few slots of lace.
S- Thick fudgey dessert chocolate truffle aromas with those complex long chain sugars. Toasted and even charred oak comes out with hints of fresh spicy tequila. Dried dark fruits peek through.
T- Woody, charred and chocolatey with a barrel that comes off as fairly fresh. Toasted oak, vanilla beans, cocoa nibs, burnt coffee beans, raisins, chocolate truffles, fudge, nuts, cherry and booze. Tequila flavor is noted but in the end it seems like a more reserved type, smooth.
MF- Thick bodied but the booze cuts into it quite a bit giving it plenty of slickness and heat. Low end carbonation. Bitter burnt grains in the end. Just a bit frothy.
Intense in the end with plenty of wood, dark fruits, fudgey chocolate and boozy spirits.
