From a 16oz can, undated. ‘Keep cold. Drink fresh.’ But no canned-on date. Know what I’m saying? Served in a cervoise.
Pours a milky-pale grapefruit juice-colour with a scant two fingers of super-soft, lathery foam. Retention is very good, leaving a solid curtain of sudsy lacing.
Nose is creamy, yeasty and citrusy. Aroma of orange creamsicle.
Taste follows along with the nose but less creamy and with more pithy bitterness than anticipated. Flavours of grapefruit pith, orange, yeasty french bread and a bitter medicinal, aspirin-like chalkiness.
Feel is juicy, doughy, medium bodied - definitely less thick than appearances would suggest - and with fine, mineral water-like carbonation. Chalky, drying, alkaline finish.
Overall, tasty and spot-on relative to the style in every respect.

Poured into a 13 oz Teku glass not sure when it was canned. Pours a hazy orange with a 2 finger sticky white head that leaves thick streaks of lace with excellent retention. 4.5
Smell peach, ripe melon, guava, lemon, apricot, and grapefruit rind. 4
Taste follows peach, honey dew, guava, lemon, apricot, and mild grapefruit bitterness. 4.25
Mouthfeel is bigger than average, gentle soft carbonation, not dry or sticky, and at 8.3% goes down pretty darn easy. 4.5
Overall I am a fan, excellent NEDIPA. I will be getting more of this one. 4.5

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had a yellowish color and a very cloudy consistency. There was an inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Good lacing.
S: A very good aroma of hops, tropical fruit, malt, and citrus fruit.
T: Tasted of a small amount of malt (mostly in the finish), a bit of citrus fruit (orange, in particular), a good shot of hops (the dominant ingredient), and a decent amount of tropical fruit (guava, pineapple). Supposedly has lychee, but I didn't taste any. This is a hops-forward flavor, but the fruits give it a nice balance. Fairly well-focused and tasty.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a soft, smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: In general, a solidly done DIPA. Worth a try.
