Ruddy brown with strong effervescence and two fingers of tan head that quickly fizz away into near nothingness.
Oak, leather, cocoa show first in the nose for a classic barleywine aroma. Some definite peach and caramel lurk behind.
Very peachy taste throughout. It mixes nicely with some caramel, leather, vanilla, grape jelly, stale hops and alcohol. Sweet, but not overly so. The alcohol and leather cut that somewhat.
Full bodied and creamy with some zippy carbonation.
This is a fun one. A well-made, fairly traditional base with peachy peachness right next to it.

Bottle poured into fluted snifter.
Thick and brown, very thin light brown head that ends up circling the edge of the glass.
Aroma is rich caramel and toffee over ripe peach flesh. The barrel comes through as woody, deep wild grapes.
The rich and full peach flavor comes through at a nice level. Not too fruity, but assertive enough to make itself known. The actual peach flavor is excellent too, fresh and ripe flesh as well as booze soaked fruit. Cognac flavor adds to the fruitiness but also creates a balancing earthy flavor that blends things together nicely. Some woodiness as well as the traditional barleywine flavors including caramel malts.
Smooth carbonation and rich full body. Not syrupy or oily, but feels like a substantial brew.
Overall a surprising and tasty brew. I had some doubts after reading the description but I was pleasantly surprised how everything worked together.
