Sweet toffee and brown sugar, bran cereal flakes, figs and raisins, and a prominent bourbon barrel boozy nose on this one! Taste follows with those sweet brown sugar notes and dark fruity vibes upfront...and then a balanced, bourbon barrel finish. Wow! This has aged so well! the only thing that I think could be improved is that the mouthfeel is just a touch thin IMO. Outside of that, everything is playing well/is in harmony together here. Absolutely fantastic.

This one pours nearly black, mostly brown, dark and menacing, with a small head, and basically no lacing.
This smells like caramel, burnt marshmallow, brown sugar, almost paste, raisins, bourbon, vanilla, and charred oak.
This is tremendous. There’s just waves of barrel character here – nutty, almost almond like flavor, concentrated caramelly sweetness, bourbon, some char, vanilla/marshmallow, and spice. The base beer is enough to hold up to how long this was in the various barrels, with a big brown sugar toastiness to it.
This is medium bodied, and heavy on the palate, but not in a bad way, necessarily. It’s not all that boozy.
This is one of my favorite Barreled Souls beer that I’ve had so far, it’s really wonderful.
