Imperial stout with strawberry, strawberry fluff, and cacao nibs. A great Valentine's Day stout.

Pouring a cellar temp 500 ml bottle that I picked up at the brewery. The beer is poured into my trusty snifter.
Beer pours a dark cola brown color with no light passing through the glass.
The aroma is milk chocolate, some strawberry quik and general strawberry fruitiness. no hop character and the ABV is totally hidden. Does smell a little like what a strawberry cordial would smell like if it were a candy.
First sip reveals a medium body with smooth texture and fine tingly carbonation. There is a bit of stickiness when I take a sip that coats my lips and palate.
Flavor is again sweet milk chocolate and strawberry syrup or quick powder. Not a whole lot else here, maybe some brown sugar But that could be general sweetness too. still no hops and the ABV hidden here as well.
The beer is definitely sweeter , but to be expected based on the ingredients.
I find this to be a good beer, but second tier in comparison to other Barreled Souls stuff. Might be too sweet if that is something you are sensitive to. Im not sad that this one is my only bottle.

This pours a fairly dark conscious color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like roasty bitter malt, jammy strawberry, milk chocolate, and marshmallow.
This is really well balanced - these sorts of things, your Neapolitan stouts, can just get really, really sweet. But it seems like the intent was to brew a fairly roasty stout here so that the addition of sweet jammy strawberry and the fluff wouldn’t get too cloying. There’s a nice creamy chocolate center to this beee, with a clean roasty finish.
This is medium bodied, creamy, and pretty rich, with a nice drinkability.
This was one of the better non BA pastry stouts that I’ve had in a while.
