A big, white, rocky head slowly compresses from 2", leaving seafoam lace on the wall of a Simpli Pint Glass. The beer is brownish pink and murky, glowing when back-lit. The head eventually settles in a thick blanket.
The immediate aroma is that of super sweet strawberry and marshmallow, similar to starburst candy. Light sourness adds a strangely inviting sensation. As it warms, guava becomes apparent.
The flavor is equally tart as it is sour and sweet. There is a very light bitterness. The strawberry and guava really only show-up in the long mild finish.
Alcohol is well below expectations. A full to dense body with the texture of bread dough or soft clay. Carbonation is also soft.
To put it mildly, this is a weird beer. It is tasty, and likely best to accompany a brunch occasion. I will finish the last can while relaxing.
