This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.

This smells like charred marshmallow, caramel, oak, and dark chocolate.

This leans a little bit sweeter than Barreled Souls usually leans, but it’s still not a full blown pastry stout by any means. There’s a nice subtle oakiness here, with spiced caramel and bourbon vanilla/molasses flavors. There’s lots of dark chocolate, and a nice toasty marshmallow vibe.

This is medium bodied, pretty creamy, with a slight booziness that never comes all that taxing.

There’s so many fun barrel aged versions of this beer, and I love trying them all.

 

 

On tap. Tan head black color.

Amazing barrel flavor. Nice char and huge warming bourbon. Vanilla, marshmallow sweetness to balance the bourbon. But it tastes like you are sipping whiskey. Fudge, caramel, oak. Smooth. This is excellent.
