Sampling a cellar temp 22 oz bottle of this beer. Poured into a stemless snifter. Picked up at the brewery , beer was bottled on my birthday (May 15) 2023.
the beer pours a dark coffee brown color with no light passing through the glass. A dense spongey tan head of 3 cm foams up and fades to a dense strong edge layer.
Aroma on the beer is sweet chocolate and vanilla with some fruity blueberry notes, but not really any peanut notes to speak of. Certainly no hop character on this beer either.
First sip reveals a medium body and very smooth texture with fine gentle rolling carbonation.
FLavor is similar to the nose, still not getting peanuts or peanut butter, some sweet chocolate, vanilla and light blueberry notes. Never any hint of the ABV nor any hop character. The beer is very drinkable and has a nicely mixed flavor profile. Blueberry lingers after each sip.
A nice imperial stout that I am enjoying, but a little disappointed for no peanut hits, maybe they were there and have faded, but I wish they were still here.

Pours an effervescent ebony with a liver of mocha colored head. Some head retention & lacing
S: Some blueberry notes, traces of peanut butter. Once this beer warms up, the nose really speaks, coffee notes too
T: Follows the nose, except the peanut butter is more assertive up front. Coffee, a little barrel dryness go along with the blueberry & peanut butter, plus some dark chocolate & vanilla as well. Finishes with some mocha sweetness, blueberries, peanuts lurking in the background, along with dark chocolate
MF: Medium body, restrained carbonation that gets livelier as the beer warms up
Just more greatness from this brewery, a sipper, but deceptively drinkable, If you aren't into Blueberries, this may not be for you
