This one pours a dark-ish brown color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
There’s lots of sweet and toasty oakiness on the nose here, with raisin, honey, maple, rye, and breadiness.
The intriguing barrels really help this one, as there’s a nice oaky spice to this, toasty and nutty almost, but the sherry aspect of this adds a nice light and herbal fruitiness. There’s some distinct maple and honey sweet notes, with caramel and toasted bread.
This is medium bodied, sweet but not overly so, with very little booziness.
I love this series, and I think have really enjoyed every single one of them.

Flash. Like a bolt of lightning, did it hit me? Or am I just in shock? I chill. Then I sip again. It’s good, but not George Washington Revolutionary ‘good.’
