This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like sticky marshmallow, charred oak, bourbon, caramel, and creamy peanut butter.
This is quite decadent, and maybe a bit sweeter than Barreled Souls is usually known for, but still quite tasty. The peanut butter and marshmallow go well together, naturally, and neither overwhelms the other. Both of them slightly overwhelm the barrel character. The barrel was definitely stronger on the nose. There’s also some nice milk chocolate here.
This is creamy and sweet and rich, with a nice drinkability, and very little booziness.
I tend to like the Stay Puft variants that focus more on barrel, but I still enjoyed this one.
