-30% Solera-base aged in red wine-finished Penelope Bourbon barrels for 11 months and 16 days.
-27% Munichwine aged in Willett Bourbon barrels for 12 months and 1 day.
-21.5% Honeypot aged in Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels for 19 months and 26 days.
-21.5% Bombs aged in Elijah Craig barrels for 18 months and 23 days.

Poured at fridge temp. Pours a very dark brown with minimal head. The nose is insane. Immediately getting bourbon, brown sugar, burnt toffee, molasses, and prunes. Lovely.
The taste follows the nose. Classic BA English barleywine all the way. Loads of toffee, bourbon, vanilla, brown sugar, prunes, figs, biscuits, pudding, lemon, and a touch of maple sweetness. My god this is great.
The mouthfeel is medium bodied with a strong aftertaste of toffee and bourbon. Wish I had more!

Sweet red wine and port, caramel covered raisins, plums, a hint of oak, and a touch of bourbon barrel nose on this one! Taste follows exactly with a sweet, but balanced and subtle, wine and bourbon barrel finish. This is a little thin, but it works with the red wine/port influence. I have been impressed with Barreled Souls Lyfe! They always seem to think outside of the box while still staying true to style. This is really good!
