This one pours a very dark brown color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells kinda boozy, with pumpernickel, caramel, vanilla, and lots of dark fruit.
I’m not entirely sure how the all crystal malt helped changed this, but it definitely feels a bit more spicy and dark fruity than a typical barleywine – maybe? There’s lots of bourbon here, and it’s got some heat to it. It’s very raisiny, and there’s a nice vanilla-ish oak flavor.
This is very thick, with a long boozy finish, and a slightly syrupy mouthfeel.
This was very interesting, and pretty tasty, but not exactly my favorite barleywine from Barreled Souls.

Collab with Horus. Poured at fridge temp. Pours a very dark brown with limited head. The nose is full of bourbon and caramel. Figs, raisins, and loads of malts.
The taste follows the nose. Loads of caramel and bourbon. Vanilla, figs, plums, slight leather, and some brown sugar. Very nice. Definitely not too sweet. Reminds me of a big Revolution barleywine. Boozy.
The mouthfeel is medium bodied with a big boozy aftertaste.
