The coffee lovers stout; this black beer is a collaboration with Counter Culture Coffee out of Durham, NC. We use cold-brewed coffee, rich in chocolate, caramel and cherry flavors, and blend that with a sweet stout. This blend balances out the sweetness from the beer and leaves you with a coffee stout that is perfect for those wintry days.

A: Pours an opaque extremely dark brown approaching jet black in color with light to moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and faint dark cola brown colored highlights. The beer has a finger tall creamy foamy dark tan head that slowly reduces to a large patch of medium thick film covering the entire surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of cold brew coffee over the top of just shy of moderate aromas of roasted malts + dark malts with a light to moderate amount of caramel sweetness.
T: Upfront there is a moderate flavor of roasted, caramel, and dark malts with a light to moderate amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors of cold brew coffee with some light flavors of dark fruit/cherry and dark chocolate. Light amounts of lingering roasty bitterness in the finish.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly thin/watery for the style.
O: Enjoyable though a little thin in the mouthfeel for my preferences. Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and pleasant flavors + aromas.
