A: Pours an opaque yet still clear thick viscous jet black in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising slowly along the edges of the glass and moderate dark cola brown + chestnut brown + ruby red + garnet red colored highlights. The beer has a finger tall dense sudsy foamy dark tan head that reduces to a large patch of very thin film covering a little more than 75% of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of freshly ground coffee beans, dark chocolate/cacao nibs, and roasted + dark + chocolate malts with a moderate amount of lactose sweetness. Moderate aromas of vanilla, toasted oak, caramel, and bourbon.
T: Upfront there are slightly stronger than moderate flavors of roasted + dark + chocolate malts with a moderate amount of lactose sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of freshly ground coffee beans and dark chocolate/cacao nibs. Finally there are moderate flavors of vanilla, toasted oak, caramel, and bourbon. Light amounts of booziness in the finish along with a light amount of roasty bitterness which fades away relatively quickly leaving lactose sweetness and bourbon flavors lingering.
M: Slightly heavier than medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth with a light to moderate amount of alcohol warming in the finish.
O: Drinks fairly easily considering the strength and while there is alcohol present it is a pleasant booziness. Easily the best beer I have had from Lenny Boy - this is a really nice breakfast stout.

Have had this several times on tap and via crowler, but now this is being canned, thankfully. Deep brown color. Smell is big on the coffee. Taste is just as it describes, but the coffee is the most pronounced. Decent barrel. Good amount of vanilla, especially as it warms.
This is Lenny Boys' crowning achievement thus far. Great job and hoping this is around awhile.
