A: Pours a crystal clear medium to dark copper in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate amber + dark golden yellow colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall sudsy foamy light beige head that quickly reduces to a medium sized patched of very thin film and a very thin ring at the edges of glass. Minimal amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of toasted + bready + caramel malts with a very light amount of caramel sweetness. Light aromas of earthy + spicy hops.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of toasted + bready + caramel malts with a very light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by very light flavors of earthy + spicy hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which does not linger for too long.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp upfront with a relatively clean finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and not as sweet as a lot of the recent Oktoberfest beers that I have tried. Enjoyable though without quite as much complexity of maltiness as some other choices in the style. I could have a couple of these.

Poured one and a quarter cans into a half liter stein a clear copper color with a thin quick to fade head, nice color and clarity but I like my stein of marzen with a big blooming rocky head.Aromas are muted with a light caramel note coming thru,a faint toastiness is there as well.Pretty dry on the palate with some bread-like crispness, some anise flavors linger but not much in the way of caramel malts.A pretty average O-fest lager different in that's not to sweet just not alot of flavor punch going on.
