an awesome summery brew right here, maybe a touch stronger than many in its field and perhaps a little too sour to drink a ton of, which is something i like in gose, but a really good execution in a lot of ways. the fruit is natural and robust, honestly tart and right on par with the acidity here, which is remarkable clean here, lactic and familiar and even one dimensional, but they compliment each other excellently well, and i appreciate this a lot for that, some balance, even if its a little intense. lemon and grapefruit nuance to this too, an appreciable wheat malt character in both flavor and body, and a light but tight and drying salt complexion, more a feel than a flavor in this one. it could use a little more carbonation but the mouthfeel still seems right for what it is. cleaner than many, very little leftover sweetness from the fruit, tropical and summery and good. its my first beer from these guys, and it seems quite professionally done. quenching and just right this time of year!
