L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had a yellowish / orange color and a mostly cloudy consistency. There was a massive, foamy / rocky, long-lasting head. Above average lacing.
S: A pretty good aroma of tropical fruit, hops, citrus fruit, and malt.
T: Tasted of a moderate amount of hops (not too much, but definitely present), a good bit of citrus fruit (grapefruit and orange), some bready malt notes (mostly in the finish; a subtle presence), and a fair amount of tropical fruit (the advertised guava). The flavor's not quite as much of a fruit bomb as other NE IPAs, but is still pretty sharp. Kind of grows on you.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: In general, this is a solid, likable beer. Worth a try.

A: Pours a very hazy medium golden apricot in color with slightly less than moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate orange + medium golden yellow + burnt orange + bright yellow colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy off-white head that reduces to a small to medium sized patch of thin film surrounded by a medium to large patch of very thin film covering a little more than 50% of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy fresh tropical guava over the top of light to moderate aromas of biscuit + oat + wheat malts with a light amount of lactose sweetness. Light aromas of tropical/mango, tropical/pineapple, pine, and citrus/grapefruit hops.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of biscuit + oat + wheat malts with a light amount of lactose sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy fresh tropical guava. Finally there are light to moderate flavors of juicy tropical/mango, tropical/pineapple, pine, and citrus/grapefruit hops which impart a hint of bitterness which fades away quickly leaving lingering tropical hop flavors.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light amounts of soft/fluffiness mid-body and a hint of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasant mouthfeel though not as soft/fluffy as other Milkshake IPAs. A very enjoyable hop presence and a really nice fresh guava aroma + flavor. I could easily have another of these.
