On tap at Lenny Boy served in a Shaker Pint Glass
The beer pours a dark brown, nearly black color with about one fingers worth of foamy off white head that quickly recedes leaving behind no lacing
The aroma is Raspberries, dark chocolate, roasted malts, coffee, and a slight charred aroma at that finish.
The flavor is more roasted malts and dark chocolate, and a much milder raspberry purée flavor. A bit milder than I expected given the aroma, but still very nice. Medium bodied and mildly carbonated.
Overall, this is a nice beer, but the raspberry gets a little lost on the palate.
