A dark amber color with just a wisp of a head and no lace.
Sweet malt aroma, a little spice.
Caramel taste, pine late. Lingering bitterness.
Nicely balanced.

On tap at the Tramway location. Serious WC DIPA, really nice.

Solid dark amber body; thick, sticky head; rings of lacing along the inside of the glass. Peppery, spicy hop aroma floating above a somewhat sweet, caramel malt base. Spicy flavor full of malt sweetness and a zesty, popping hop presence; pine; some alcohol presence. Heavy body; coats the palate with a warm, sticky quality; some boozy heat; mostly dry overall.
A bold and impressive DIPA, nicely balanced.

Definitely a huge piney bomb with hints of orange and grapefruit, but I'm getting some off flavors too. Olive oil? That's a first. Burly in body, I think I'd prefer such a malt heavy IPA in the colder months. There is promise here though.
