16 oz can stamped 10/23/25 "Put your taste buds in a headlock"
Golden color is capped by a firm, frothy white head that is tightly packed. 2+ inches in height. Great retention that slowly recedes to a thin film after a few minutes. Clumpy layers of scattered lacing.
Nose is a really delectable melange of mildly sweet cereal grain/oats meets wet buckwheat underneath a firm tropical mix of orange rind, pineapple, mango, and some green notes that gently hit at weed and ever so mild scallions.
Flavor follows the nose well. The grain notes are by no means one-dimensional. Lightly sweet a bit of oats coupled with a firmer grain. Again, buckwheat comes to mind, almost nutty. The hops take me all over. Orange rind, tangerine, lemon blossoms, grass, pineapple, mango, grapes, onion, weed, and hints of orange lifesavers.
Mouthfeel is good for style until the carbonation drops off near the back end.

this is darn good hazy ipa, real well done, maybe my favorite of the handful of beers i had from these guys in a recent session, an easy one to drink and to like, right up to but not over that saturation point on the hops, juicy and delicious. rather dense, not quite to the point of being dull, still a little sunny backlit thing, but this pours pretty thick from the can, high headed and lively though, straw color with a some murk to it. the aroma is real fresh, pineapple and clementine come to mind right away, with mild grain sweetness and cereal character there as well, robust but not out of balance, tropical without being sugary, summery without really being light, well dry hopped to say the least. pineapple again in the flavor, ripe melon, green table grapes, starchy body, probably heavily wheat based, maybe some oats too, smooth and long like that, juicy citrus as it warms, sativa buds, not super oily and quite well carbonated so it does move on the palate, somewhat fluffy, still pretty full though, and the aftertaste is long, mango and orange, very tasty. the hop profile makes this, as it does with any ipa i guess, the beer around it might be a bit further refined and improved, still a little yeasty to me if i am being especially picky, but they have a good thing going here and this was a standout even among other excellent ipa types, so credit them for something distinctive and delicious. better than its ratings here for sure, would love to know what hops are in it, a touch spicy as it warms, nice flow.
