This is my favorite beer brewed by this brewery. I just finished a bottle of the 2015 barrel aged version. When initially brewed the bourbon flavor was somewhat overwhelming. However after sitting in my beer fridge for almost two years it settled down nicely. The nuances of flavor in the spicing really came forward as it warmed up. A very smooth mouth feel. It was almost like drinking a nice cognac. A really great beer.
