Ale brewed with a variety of German and American Malts aged on an immense amount of red and black currants. This beer is bursting with fruit character. Semi Dry with some tartness from the currants and a vibrant color.

That's a big fruit beer but I ended up pouring into a becher pint glass. If I would have paid better attention, I probably would have poured into a tulip. Oh well, consider this observations and me 'horsing' around tonight and thinking about friends who have passed on.
The appearance was a beautiful looking semi-dark purple color with a pink colored foamy two finger head that quickly died off. Lots of ringy lace.
The aroma captured the black currants fully, taking the sweet to wrap itself inside the tart and sour, adding a little bit of wine, lemon juice and grassiness. Some red raspberry and a touch of cranberry. Super soft vanilla on the back end.
The flavor moderately leaning into the sweetness slightly meshes the black currants with lemon juice, cranberry, wine, grassy hops then ended with some red and black raspberries. Light aftertaste of a grassy black currants to raspberry character.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Mild stickiness of the currants and raspberries. Slight acidity. Finish was semi-sticky with some vinous character and currants, some light dryness.
Overall, really good fruit beer perhaps a bit thicker than expected. Despite me pouring this into what I believe was the wrong glassware, I hope my observations did this beer good service.

Moderate pour yields a 3/4 inch light pink head over a reddish, dark pink body. Nose of slight raspberry, citrus, and a bit of floral as well. Taste on the sweet side with some sourness. Flavors of raspberry, cranberry sauce, and even a bit of vanilla. Nice feel and overall, I was expecting something more on the tart side but this is a pleasant surprise and very enjoyable. Cheers!
