Sour Ale Brewed with Lactose, Vanilla and Blueberries - We aged this sour for 1.5 months on 400 lbs of blueberry puree. Rich flavors of blueberry with a nice creamy/sweet mouth feel from the lactose and a touch of vanilla on the finish.

16 oz. can.
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a 3/4 inch light pink head over a hazy pink body with scant lacing. Nose of slight blueberry and slighter vanilla. Taste of blueberry with a real nice sweet and sour flavor. Great use of just the right amount of lactose for a creamy mouthfeel. Finishes with blueberry pie and vanilla! Overall, I would have this again.
Cheers to Mike for a job well done!

Ended up believing this is a fruited sour ale and poured into a tulip. It poured closer to a dark pink color.
The appearance was a fairly thick semi-dark purple color. The head quick dissipated to barely leave any lace.
The aroma had a stealthy sweet blueberry flesh melding with a keen sweet biscuity creaminess then vanilla and a warming sour to tart blueberry skin coming in underneath.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet creamy and blueberry fleshiness with that clean malt rolling in for a very nice balance. Mild aftertaste of blueberry sweet flesh, tart blueberry skin, creamy sweet vanilla and some biscuits.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Good ABV and carbonation. Clean quick finish of blueberry skin tartness, brisk sweet smooth blueberry and a light malty biscuit.
Overall, pretty nice beer, nice and unique a fruited sour ale. I'd love to have again.
