Poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a ruddy burnt yet semi-bright yellow to orange color. Modest finger's worth of white foamy head softly sliding off. Just a slipping little bit of concave lace.
The aroma takes on a gentle blend of semi-tart lemon rind punching at lime bits and floral hops. Some white cracker and a little bit of white pepper make the backbone.
The flavor somewhat leads with a drier version of lemon tartness running through some floral, herbal and a light spice through the white pepper. Somewhat a lingering aftertaste of tart lemon, white pepper and cracker malt lightness.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Decent carbonation. Some dryness invades, but also, somewhat appropriately. Good ABV. Finished with the tartness of the lemon, some dryness.
Overall, pretty nice tart saison worthy of coming back to.

16 oz. can.
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a one inch white head over a slightly hazy light golden body with some sticky lacing. Nose of honey, wildflower, cracker, and a bit of spice with an herbal quality as well. Taste of lemon, lime, honey and spice; also picking up notes of candied citrus and finishing with much honey. Good feel and overall, a very refreshing honey saison and would highly recommend. Cheers!
