Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a fairly nice looking muddy orange color. Small cap of a white foamy head swiftly slid off and barely left any lace.
The aroma had orange pulpy juice up front with some notes of vanilla cream/lactose.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet end initially wrapping the orange pulp and vanilla/lactose up tight enough to push out some hop forward grassy elements that tried to make a play in the balance. Mellow aftertaste of orange juice and cream.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a decent enough sessionability. Good carbonation isn't bothersome, just on par. Finish lingers with stickiness and creamy smooth notes.
Overall, do-able but somehow I think I would reach for some of the other variants of this series before this one.
