16oz can
Pours two big fingers of white head into my pint glass. Body has an immense amount if carbonation. Golden orange in color. Visibility is low, though (as the can states) it's not hazy. Head fizzed relatively quickly, but has left a hefty film on top of the body. Looks good so far.
Not sure what's up with the nose here, almost smells like a kettle sour, or a brett addition. Could just be an extremely acidic hop variety, it does vaguely remind me of galaxy. Grapefruit is pretty prominent. Really hard to put my finger on the aromas here. Just very citrus forward. Not much else going on. It's very unusual, I guess it smells ok?
I'm drinking this a little warm, but still, this tastes odd. Just a weird acidic character, not super indicative of any specific fruit. Just a little bitter, a little sour, not much else. Really nothing to this beer other than some weird flavors. Not that great, no idea what they were going for here.
The carbonation is pretty low here. Body isn't all too thick, what bitterness that is here, doesn't linger. Quite dry, not sweet in any way, which is kinda nice I suppose. Not a bad mouth I guess, more carbonation would be good, but the dryness is nice, I think.
The drinkability isn't bad, it's super light, dry and therefore crushable. It doesn't taste phenomenal though.
Appearance kinda crapped out. Probably not the cleanest glass, but still, got zero lacing. I had some nice film for a bit, but overall, the head fizzed quickly, and I got no lacing. Not amazing on the appearance.
Overall I feel like I'm either just super unfamiliar with this hop variety, or they used a weird yeast strain, or it's just bad. Either way, not a big fan.

Can dated 08302017 into a tulip glass.
L: Pours bronze with 3+ fingers of medium density head that had moderate retention and left mixed lacing. Some residual solids on the bottom of the glass.
S: Nose was mix of floral and earthy attributes, perhaps some citrus as it warmed. Almost an underlying Allspice aspect, which was puzzling.
T: Follows the nose, for my palate not overly enjoyable. Some possibly mango attributes once it warmed. Finished with limited bitterness nor astringency, and clears the palate quickly.
F: Lighter bodied with lower carbonation, slick on the tongue.
O: It's an OK beer, but have to admit that I was a bit disappointed.

Pint at Growl Movement in Salem OR $4 Pours a deeper golden color..tiny head..nice lace. Fruit hop aromas..orange and peach. Taste similar, very fruity but mellow. Strong caramel malts. Finishes slightly dank. Nice medium mouth feel..good carbonation. Very nice IPA.

Pint served at Three Magnets.
Pours a clear deep amber with a medium head and not much carbonation. Smell is mild and malty with clear grapefruit skin in the background.
Taste is slightly citrusy, with a hint of dirty dishwater, and some pine.
Mouthfeel is thick and a little oily. Overall, not bad, but not special.

Comes out a hazy orange that you can't see through. Aroma is on the orange/citrus side and is rather pleasant. Taste is not as big as you would think citrus wise but is very good. Goes down easy with a slightly sweet orange taste. Overall really tasty for me.

Handsome golden yellow with a big pile of long-lasting foam in the Bitburger lager glass. Aroma of tangerine peel and orange juice, all freshly squeezed. Tangy and light bodied.
It's hard to taste the malt but there seems to be plenty to give it a sweet-tempered base. This is almost hot with citrus. Very likable and full of flavor. It's a little hot acidic. A Double version of this would take your lips off. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Special Brews in Lynnwood.

22 ounce bottle into a tulip.
Appearance is amber with a little head, and a bit of lacing, not much.
This IPA is a little different than most I've had. It's fruity, yes, but not as aggressively citrus forward as some. It's definitely not a grapefruit bomb. To me, the fruit (a mix of fruit flavors) seems to blend with the malts to produce a beer than is sweeter than most IPAs ... call it candylike, as one reviewer did, or I could say it had a bit of caramel to it. There's a nice bitter finish that lets you know you're in IPA territory. The body is richer and fuller than the usual IPA style. It's a good beer, and well worth seeking out.
