32 oz growler from Growl Movement in Salem OR $6 Pours an orange tinged gold colour with nice thick and creamy dirty white head. Very fruity, tropical mix aromas here..getting a lot of lemon and lime, with a touch of mango, malts there too rich caramel. Nice taste..sweet yet tempered and smooth with a nice bitterness in the end drying and making the sweet break up. Excellent smooth yet pound able drink ability. Very nice fruity IPA here.

Handsome amber brew with plenty of foam ion the Gulpener tulip. Fruity nose. Just a touch of apricot. A little more bitter than I like. Woody and slightly astringent. Interesting funky touch.
Overall, kind of murky and not as interesting as others from this brewery. This is the last of several Three Magnets beers that made it to the Seattle area lately. From the 22 oz bottle.

Pint served at Three Magnets.
Pours very hazy, light amber, with medium head and light carbonation. Smell is nice -- lemon fresh, a hint of tropical fruit, some pine.
Taste is dominated by hoppy bitterness, a little floral. Good, straightforward IPA.
Mouthfeel is contradictory -- thick but light. Overall, nice beer.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a fine, two finger white head with good retention and lots of lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, citrus hops, orange and lemon citrus, light tropical fruit and mild dankness. Flavor is caramel malt, citrus hops with light pine and dankness, grapefruit and lemon citrus and rind; finishes with an interesting resinous lemon and grapefruit rind bitterness, with little of the pine usually associated with resinous hops. Medium bodied with light creaminess and nice mouth feel. A great sunny day IPA with the semisweet lemon and grapefruit flavors that finish drier, but with good citrus rind effect. Aroma is more complex than the flavor, but still a quite nice citrus forward summer IPA.

Picked up a 22 oz bottle of this IPA & was pleasantly surprised. Golden amber in color, and hazy. The head is tan & creamy, but on the thinner side. Dissipated into a full film across the top. Moderate lacing. The aroma is quite nice. Sweet, floral, orange blossom, honey, & caramel malt. Superb citrus flavor, orange and grapefruit. Also some apricot. The hops bitterness is smoothed out perfectly with the malt. So drinkable. Dry mouthfeel and crisp finish. I recommend trying this beer.
