The opaque bright orange Hazy Hero is capped by a very frothy and sticky white head. Tropical fruit aromas are pleasantly net with a sharp pine finish. The flavors are a bit muted, but mango, grapefruit, and pine are all well received. A soft feel at first leads into a decent enough crispness, and it is very balanced. Overall, this is another decent NE styled IPA, but not one that I'd revisit likely. Cheers.

Hazy, cloudy and pretty drinkable. This will be great for a hot summer day. Goes down smooth. Citrusy, maybe a little orange. I'll come back and edit this later when I pop open the second bottle. Not a bad beer though but probs won't look for it again.

22oz bottle served in a large mug. Bought it at the brewery last weekend. Don't see a date. Hopefully they're not selling old beer.

Pours a moderately hazy amber-yellow with a big fluffy head that fades moderately quickly but leaves massive lacing. Smell is a little piney and a little lemony.

Taste is heavy bitterness, strong lemon and pine, a little bit of honeysuckle and juice -- just a bit. Mother in law says she tastes apricot, but I don't get it.

Mouthfeel is fluffy. Overall, good beer.

Golden amber color, hazy - obviously from the name, creamy head with solid retention and lacing. Aroma is light, hints of caramel, stone and citrus fruit. Flavor has pine, orange blossom, and bread malt characteristics. Resinous and thick, but still smooth with a solid malt back. A bit of floral sweetness. Hops bitterness in the aftertaste. A nice beer overall.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a very hazy orange amber, almost looks like fresh squeezed orange juice, with a fine half finger head with great retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, citrus and lightly piney hops, orange and lemon citrus, a little light tropical fruit. Flavor follows with light caramel malt, citrus hops, lemon, slight orange, light guava, finishes with somewhat resinous and lingering, citrus and piney hops, with a light, pleasant estery fruit flavor in the background. Medium bodied with light creaminess. I like the looks of the unfiltered IPAs and this one delivers on its name. A bit of a pale ale profile at first, with hops dominating the malt flavors, but the malt is supportive throughout the taste and it finishes off with a powerful enough hop burst in the finish. The hops almost overwhelm the fruit flavors, but there is a pleasant ester flavor throughout the finish, like a fruity Belgian yeast, that really carries this through. A very nice citrusy IPA with additional light mixed fruit. Looks and tastes great.
