Beautiful clear sunrise with tight two finger head. Nose is musky with dried apricots, white wine, green apples and some barnyard funk. Taste is much lighter than the nose that opens with some honey and melon, and folds into dried fruits, and ends with some light yeasty phenols. Body is light to medium with high carbonation. Ends dry with a slightly bitter funk. Overall a nice find, complex, and refreshing.

another amazingly thoughtful (and expensive) beer from these guys, who have my full beer attention right now, my god, its all so good from three magnets, and nobody talks about it! this is a wine barrel one, a blend, and there is some apricot in the mix, even though its hard to appreciate that element specifically when i drink it, i dont care, its not about one thing here or there, its a real cohesive and mature whole, i will not be the one to break it down to less than that. its about the yeast for me, as it has been with these large format ones, fancy and all, its funky, quite sour, with both red and white wine fruitiness and acidity, and its oaky too, real interesting, but puckery and griping and a little mean. if this beer was a bridesmaid speaking, she would tell all the stories about how popular she was but how the football captain always liked the bride and even though she flirted hard, it was never going to be her in the end. thats what this does in a weird way, tells a story, and while its puckery and autumnal and good, its not way different, but it does deliver a feeling, especially in our drinking context with this, and ill always remember this one excitedly. cool beer, cooler memories, i dont know, its fun to invite three magnets to the best moments of my life, they seem to fit in well, even as a new friend...
