A wonderfully malty blend. Lightly hopped with Pallisade, we learned folks were chuffed with the pale hop profile. English Malt can get a somewhat coying and flat sweetness. We really didn't want that. I am keen on Golden Naked Oats, as they offer a lovely crisp biscuit flavor. And they are absolutely singing in this beer. Think of a Orange Marmalade jammyness that would go bang on with an English breakfast. Sans alcohol with unlimited sessionability.

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Purchased at the brewery.

Appearance: medium orange hue with a light laze and a thick finger of pillowy ivory foam. If what they are going after is like an English bitter, then they have achieved it.

Smell: light malt with light hops; the hops have an earthy, lemony character. A bit low-intensity, but pretty darn good for NA.

Taste: very light malt with a moderate bitterness and a pretty solid pale ale character. Like the aroma, the intensity is low, but this is a pretty convincing beer for NA.

Mouthfeel: light body with a relatively big carbonation and a light but reasonable creaminess.

Overall: certainly very drinkable; it's damn good for NA and highly refreshing on this beautiful day while I operate equipment in the yard.

16oz can served in a pint glass. Don't see a date on the can.

Pours clear dark gold / light amber with a smallish head and medium carbonation. Smell is...non-alcoholic. I don't know how to describe it, but I'm starting to recognize this as a common theme in the few NA beers I've tried. Kind of grainy / dusty, vegetal. Moderate hoppy overtone.

Taste is kind of similar, but leaning on the vegetal flavor a little bit. Moderate honey or honeysuckle sweetness, a little floral, with a pretty clear hoppy bitter finish.

Mouthfeel is light, thin, dry. Overall, it's pretty decent for an NA beer.
