Bottle: Poured a blonde color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of spicy malt notes with some nice citrusy hops notes. Taste is a mix of spicy rye mal;t notes with some dry floral undertones with some hints of tropical notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation and no perceptible alcohol. Enjoyable saison with a nice level of complexity.

Pours a light hazy gold with a very fluffy three fingers of head. Retention is very good, breaking long after pour. Lacing is quite nice.

Smell is rather mild, I do get the NZ hops in this one, they come in first, followed by the typical spice and pepper for the style.

Taste let's the Rakau and Moteuka hops shine through. They dance along the front end before giving way to the spices and pepper of the Saison.

Feel is light and carbonation is active. Finish is quite dry and in this case a nice balance of hops bitterness and pepper spice.

A nice easy to drink Saison. I quite enjoyed the use of the NZ hops. If I had a minor complaint it would be that the yeast is hidden more than it should be for the style.
