When the weather starts to turn cold our minds turn to those big, dark, luscious brews that help us wile away the winter hours. The Milkman is just such a brew! Grains of 2 row, roasted barley, black malt, C120, and chocolate malt come together to create a bold backbone filled with nuances of chocolate, roasted coffee, and toasted grain. The addition of lactose to create the “milk” part of a milk stout creates a creamy, velvety mouth-feel. Hops of Cascade, Columbus and East Kent Goldings provide the perfect bite to all the rich grains. Put it all together and you have the perfect stout for those cooler days and evenings.
