Collaboration with Heathen Brewing.

Imperial Red Ale that captures the relentless spirit of this region. Graveyard of the Pacific is a full bodied Imperial Red bursting with aroma and flavor from a hardy dose of Amarillo, Galaxy, Columbus, and Simcoe hops. Citrus sits in the front followed by a hint of passion fruit and floral. Just a touch of earthiness and roast roll over the palate in the malty finish. It’s has a beautiful color from the Crystal, Honey, and Chocolate malts.

Not normally a fan of hoppy Reds but this one is really good. Have had it about 3 times as I really liked it. I think the high alcohol balances out the hop flavor and makes for a delicious beer. And I'm a big fan of Heathen Brewing. I love almost everything they brew.

Very dark brownish red brew with adequate foam in the Stella Artois goblet. Malty and sweet with a hot finish. Tastes of cherries and roasted malt plus some dark and leafy hops. Sweet but musty tasting and this time the alcohol is the chaser. The whole thing is dark and ferocious. More like the Graveyard of the Palate, but an interesting sip for those who like beers with silly amounts of alcohol. From the 16 oz can purchased at the brewpub in Seaview. Dated 10/10/23.

love the name. gorgeous strong red here, a top favorite from our visit to this impressive little operation, almost an american barleywine to me, lots of hop character, deep and distinct malt layers, but not just a kitchen sink kind of strong ale either, and still rightly in the red category, we dont see enough strong reds anymore, these were hot for awhile long ago. chestnut to amber in color, short but dense off white head on top of this, a little low shine to it, and less viscosity than anticipated, not real leggy either, suggesting its on the drier side, welcomed but unexpected in this style space. a long boiled concentrated nose and taste to me, almond, raisin, leather, toffee, brown sugar, bread crusts and toast, caramel, and clay heavy soil, neat minerality to it, almost a heavy water thing, pretty cool. light whiskey notes to this, the alcohol isnt too intense but is present most of the way. faint vanilla, toasted nuts, very earthy, less sugary at the end than most but still a linger to it. it doesnt drink too dense for what it is, and there is a nice smoothness. light cocoa, doughy yeast, and maple at the end. the hops are bitter to balance but have citrus and pine notes too, not green at all but a little intense, orange rind comes to mind too, nicely dosed, softly spicy. fun brew, unexpected in a dying style.

16oz can from Cannon Beach Liquor. Opaque brown pour, thin foamy off-white head. Malty aroma, sweet, prunes. Taste is malty, strong, sweet. Warmth rises late.

Wow..not usually the biggest fan of Imperials, but after a hard day of clamming (somewhat successfully) it called for a strong one. Can graphics are incredible, taste hits in an abundance of sensations; malty, smooth, caramel/coffee(ish), a nice baby bitter. This beer rocks

One of my all time favorites. Beer type is "Imperial Red Ale" not a Barley Wine as listed.

16 oz. can purchased from Lifesource Natural grocers in Salem OR
$3.79
Didn't know this was 10% when buying. Here goes.
Pours a murky dark amber coloured body with a nice tan head..frothy/creamy/rocky.
Aromas of raw honey, demerara raw sugar, caramel and dark dried fuits.
Taste is like the aroma but quite sweet, maybe too sweet.
Mouth feel is quite heavy and carbonation low.
Too sweet and heavy to drink 16 ozs to be honest
